About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
Planning & Technical Duties
- Produce lifting plans, elevation drawings and crane lift plans
- Prepare slinging drawings and coordinated setting-out plans
- Develop logistics plans and traffic management plans
- Conduct vehicle sweep path analysis
- Prepare quotations, estimates and cost spreadsheets
- Produce and compile client documentation and PDF submissions
- Attend client meetings and site surveys
- Carry out peer reviews of lifting plans
Operational Responsibilities
- Plan and manage lifting operations in accordance with BS 7121
- Conduct risk assessments and select appropriate lifting equipment
- Brief lifting teams and supervise operations on site
- Ensure all certification and inspections are compliant
- Maintain operational safety and authority to stop works where necessary
- Ensure lifts are carried out in accordance with approved lift plans

About You
We are looking for someone who has :
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and AutoCAD
- Experience in contract lifting and crane operations
- The ability to work professionally with clients and site teams
- A strong understanding of health & safety and lifting legislation
Essential Qualifications
- CPCS Slinger/Signaller (Competent Operative)
- CPCS Appointed Person (Competent Operative)
Desirable Experience
- Familiarity with FORS, RISQS, Network Rail and London Underground standards
- Experience working within highly regulated or safety-critical environments
