WE ARE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE HAVE BEEN APPOINTED ON A NEW SCHEME ON THE GREENWICH PENINSULA, WORKING WITH OUR REPEAT CUSTOMER L&Q
Works for L&Q have started on site with tower cranes TC1 and TC2 successfully erected, TC4 and TC3 are scheduled for erection mid-August and October respectively.
The four Potain tower cranes will be working across 2 adjacent plots opposite St Mary Magdalene School, on the Greenwich Peninsula. We will be providing four Potain luffing tower cranes for a proposed period of 119 weeks. The tallest crane, presently standing at 70m, will eventually climb to a height of 102m.
In total, seven buildings will be constructed, rising to a maximum of 30 storeys, creating a new landmark on the Greenwich skyline. The scheme will provide 476 new homes, 70% of which will be affordable. It is hoped the first residents will be moving into their new homes in 2026, with a planned overall completion set for 2027.
The scheme, part of the wider Greenwich Peninsula masterplan, will also deliver over 3,000 sq. m. of play space, amenity space, landscape, and streetscape improvements to what is currently a brownfield site.
We will be supplying a full (in-house) lifting crew including a crane operator, relief operator, slingers, signallers, crane supervisor, and appointed person. We are extremely proud of our teams, their professionalism, reliability, and capabilities; giving our clients peace of mind that we can deliver safely and efficiently on their projects.
