What specialist training did Northamptonshire Police undertake at Radius facilities?
Northamptonshire Police recently carried out specialist rope access and work-at-height training exercises at Radius Group’s Northampton headquarters, using a range of operational training environments across the site.
The exercises were delivered in collaboration with Radius and supported the continued development of the police Rope Access Team’s capability in complex operational scenarios at height.
The team utilised multiple live training environments, including crane structures, mast sections, low-level jib sections and internal warehouse facilities, to simulate realistic working conditions and specialist access challenges.
The training formed part of a wider focus on realistic, scenario-led operational preparation, allowing teams to work within complex access environments in a safe and controlled setting.
Radius has increasingly supported specialist rescue and emergency response initiatives through its EIERRC (Enhanced Industry Emergency Response, Rescue & Command) programme and wider involvement in rescue-focused operational training.
