Radius is redefining industry standards by offering advanced emergency evacuation and trauma first aid training – developed with Intervention Rescue and Soteria Group. As the only tower crane hire company providing this level of specialist training, we equip participants with life-saving skills through realistic, hands-on simulations. Open to employees, clients, and non-customers alike, the programme goes beyond compliance to raise safety standards and build greater trust across the sector.
Specialist Contractor of the Year & Outstanding Contribution to Specialist Construction
Radius Group continues to lead the specialist construction sector through outstanding technical expertise, innovation, and a commitment to sustainable progress. At Crown Place in Birmingham, we collaborated with WCL to deliver a complex tower crane tie and climb operation that ensured seamless construction on a high-rise development—demonstrating our engineering precision and problem-solving capabilities.
We also pioneered the UK’s first Skyline Cockpit ground-controlled tower crane system, enhancing operational safety, efficiency, and inclusivity. Alongside this, we introduced the AMPD Enertainer, a cutting-edge, diesel-free power solution that has significantly reduced on-site carbon emissions and proven the viability of clean energy in construction.
