A London Underground-Approved Solution for Safer Material Handling
Designed and fabricated in-house by our very own Bill Preston, the Escalator Sledge is a London Underground-approved device that safely transports up to 450 kilograms of materials and equipment on underground escalators. This game-changing solution eliminates the risks associated with manual lifting, complex hoisting, or lengthy station closures.

We’re proud to be making rail infrastructure projects safer, more efficient, and more cost-effective.”
Making the night even more special, Bill – who is now enjoying a well-earned retirement – joined us at the event with his wife Leslie-Ann to celebrate this incredible achievement. Their presence was a fitting tribute to Bill’s hard work and dedication in bringing the Escalator Sledge from concept to reality.
