TEDDY HOLT TALKS ABOUT HELICOPTER LIFTING AND WHY IT’S OFTEN THE BEST (AND ONLY) CHOICE FOR CHALLENGING LIFTS IN CONDENSED CITIES

Michael Fryer (Managing Director), Teddy Holt (Operations Director), Phill Collwell (Technical Manager), and Rachael Swanston (Sales & Marketing Manager) attended the IMechE Cranes 2023 : Innovation for Safety and Sustainability seminar last week on Tuesday 26 September.

The day covered topics including spider cranes, training & improvements, sustainability, alternative power sources, Kirow mounted cranes, and innovation in lifting. The seminar attracted a varied audience with attendance from operators, service providers, construction companies, hire companies, regulatory bodies, and health and safety representatives.

Speaking on behalf of Radius Group, Teddy Holt shared his insights on helicopter lifting with a particular focus on condensed and built-up locations. Teddy’s presentation about Radius’ aerial lifting services always proves to be popular, and it invites enthusiastic conversations during seminar breakouts!

Throughout the day we had the pleasure of hearing from the following industry-leading professionals; Stephen Bradby (Select); Sam Angell & Kevin Fairholm (GGR Group); Paul Taylor (NOCN); Dave Borley (Skanska); Sean Robinson (HSB Engineering Insurance Services); Clive Tunley (ONR); Dave Shooter (Bowmer & Kirkland); Hayley Arckless (AMPD Energy); Matthew Pearce & Andrew Lack (Skanska); Mel Morrison (Vita Industrial); Richard Giles-Carlsson (Hawkins and Associates); Nick Croudace (Intervention Rescue); Kevin Franks, Elizabeth Morris & Andrew Graham (Volker Rail).
