Careers Day held at the Radius HQ for Students of the Friars Academy
We were delighted to host a ‘Careers Day’ for students from the Friars Academy, Wellingborough, on Monday 13 March, at the Radius HQ Northampton! Friars Academy is an Outstanding Special School, improving the life chances of young people, developing confidence, responsibility, independence, and creativity. “Every Child. Every Chance. Every Day.”
A group of twenty-eight very excited students were split into four groups and taken around different divisions of the Radius premises. They spent time in the Warehouse/Yard, Plant Installation/Contract Lift, The Cockpit (computerised crane), and The Boardroom showing educational and informative company videos. The children also took part in a short discussion about Radius and the services we offer.
A great day was had by all, and we hope we’ve inspired some of the students to consider a career in cranes and lifting!
