Radius have assembled, lifted and positioned 3no bridge beam pairs from their trestles to final location as part of the new Bedford bypass project for MPB using a 1000te crane. The bridge beams pairs varied in weight from 85te per pair for the central beams to 105te per pair for the outside beams.
Crane: LTM1800 (LTM11000DS) supplied by Baldwins Crane Hire.
Other Equipment: Modulift Spreader Beam (MOD110), Wire Rope Slings and bow shackles.
