Radius Group Partners with BAM Manchester on First Street Crane Hire

Radius Group have been appointed to support BAM on their First Street Scheme in Manchester.

We are pleased to announce that we have erected a tower crane at the First Street Hub site in Manchester, for our repeat customer BAM.  BAM will deliver a 9 storey, 130,900 sq ft project, which is targeting a BREEAM Excellent rating, and is also predicted to achieve a Design for Performance NABERS rating of 5.5 stars, making it the most sustainable building in operation in Manchester City Centre.

Due to the location of the site, the scheme is pretty straightforward and without any major technical challenges. The crane we erected was a Potain MR608 with a 50m jib and 57.3m HUH (height under hook); the crane will be erected for a duration of 42 weeks.
